Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon-Herb Butter SauceIngredients:
For the Salmon:
1 pound salmon fillet, skin-on 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepperFor the Lemon-Herb Butter Sauce:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepperInstructions:

Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
3.
Add a drizzle of olive oil to the skillet.
4.
Place the salmon fillet in the skillet, skin-side down.
5.
Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
7.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.

Pour the sauce over the cooked salmon and serve immediately.
Tips:
To check if the salmon is cooked through, insert a fork into the thickest part of the fish.
If the fork comes out clean, it is done.
If you don’t have fresh herbs, you can substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley and 1/4 teaspoon dried dill.
Serve the salmon with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a leafy green salad.
