Creamy Chicken and Broccoli PastaIngredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets 1 pound pasta (such as penne, rotini, or macaroni) 1/2 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 3 cups milk 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepperInstructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Grill or pan-fry until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, steam broccoli for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp.

In a large saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until softened.

Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken and broccoli to the sauce.

Drain pasta and add it to the saucepan.
Toss to combine.

Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
