Authentic Italian TiramisuIngredients:
For the Ladyfingers:

Make the Ladyfingers:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
3.
In a separate large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale yellow.
4.
Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients until just combined.
5.
In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
6.
Fold the egg whites into the batter until just combined.
7.
Pipe the batter into 1-inch strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
8.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
9.
Let cool completely.
Make the Coffee Syrup:
1.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the brewed coffee and Marsala wine.
Make the Mascarpone Cream:
1.
In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
2.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
3.
Gradually add the sugar and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, beating until combined.
4.
Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese until just combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu:
1.
Dip the ladyfingers into the coffee syrup for a few seconds.
2.
Arrange half of the ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
3.
Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
4.
Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.
5.
Dust with cocoa powder.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
