1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and shredded 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups chicken broth 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 12 ounces fettuccine pasta, cooked Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth until smooth.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened.

Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Add the shredded chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
