Make the Dough:
1.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and sugar.

Gradually add the warm water while stirring until a dough forms.
3.
Add the olive oil and salt, and knead for 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
4.
Form the dough into a ball, place in a lightly oiled bowl, and cover with plastic wrap.
Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Make the Sauce:
1.
In a medium saucepan, combine the diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, oregano, and basil.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Assemble the Pizza:

Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
