Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (such as penne, rotini, or fusilli) 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup prepared pesto 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup reserved pasta water Salt and black pepper to taste Optional toppings:
pine nuts, basil leavesInstructions:

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the heavy cream over medium heat.

Add the pesto and whisk until well combined.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until melted.

Add the reserved pasta water and simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has reached your desired consistency.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
Stir until well coated.
9.
Serve immediately, garnished with pine nuts and basil leaves, if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use homemade pesto.
If you don’t have heavy cream, you can use whole milk or half-and-half instead.
To make a vegan version, use dairy-free milk and pesto.
You can add other vegetables to this dish, such as sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, or broccoli.
