Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (such as penne, rigatoni, or farfalle) 1/2 cup pesto sauce 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the pesto sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and basil.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce is heated through.
5.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Tips:
For a creamier sauce, use more heavy cream.
To make your own pesto sauce, combine 2 cups fresh basil, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup pine nuts, 2 cloves garlic, and salt and pepper to taste in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
Top the pasta with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
