Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, taco seasoning, onion, green bell pepper, cilantro, and chili powder (if using).

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily.
