Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (penne, rigatoni, or your preferred shape) 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup pesto sauce 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.

While the pasta cooks, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, pesto sauce, and basil leaves in a small bowl.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander and return it to the pot.

Pour the sauce over the pasta and stir to coat.

Tips:
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Add additional vegetables to the sauce, such as chopped sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, or mushrooms.
Top with grilled chicken or shrimp for a complete meal.
If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta cooking water to thin it out.
