LasagnaIngredients:
1 pound lasagna noodles 1 pound ground beef 1 pound Italian sausage 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 (15 ounce) can tomato paste 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 cup ricotta cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 3 cups water 1 tablespoon olive oilInstructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat.
Drain any excess fat.

Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
5.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.

In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
7.
Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
8.
Place a layer of lasagna noodles in the bottom of the dish.
9.
Top with half of the sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
10.
Repeat layers.
11.
Drizzle with olive oil.
12.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and hot.
13.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
