Creamy Lemon-Garlic PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (such as penne or spaghetti) 1/2 cup butter 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 3 cups milk 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup lemon juice Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook pasta according to package directions.
Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Gradually whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce thickens.

Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.

If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta cooking water to thin it out.

Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Tips:
For a richer sauce, use heavy cream instead of milk.
Add some chopped parsley or basil for a fresh flavor.
Serve with grilled chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for a complete meal.
Leftover pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave or on the stovetop.
