Creamy Lemon-Garlic Shrimp PastaIngredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 box (16 oz) pasta, such as spaghetti or penne 1/4 cup olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup white wine (optional) 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 lemon, zested and juiced Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta according to the package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Add the garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

If using, deglaze the pan with the white wine by pouring it in and scraping the bottom of the pan to loosen any browned bits.

Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and lemon zest and juice to taste.

Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce.
12.
Stir in the parsley and cook until heated through, about 1 minute.

Serve immediately.
Tips:
For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
If you don’t have white wine, you can use chicken broth or water instead.
You can add other vegetables to the dish, such as diced red peppers, tomatoes, or broccoli.
Serve the pasta with a side of crusty bread to soak up all the delicious sauce.
