Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound linguine pasta 1 cup fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup pine nuts 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepperInstructions:

Cook the linguine pasta according to package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, make the pesto by combining the basil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a food processor.
Pulse until smooth.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.

Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add the pesto and stir until well combined.

Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use aged Parmesan cheese.
If you don’t have pine nuts, you can substitute other nuts, such as walnuts or almonds.
You can add other ingredients to the pesto, such as sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, or spinach.
This pasta dish can be served as a main course or a side dish.
