Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (such as penne, rotini, or farfalle) 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil 1/4 cup olive oil 1 garlic clove, minced Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook pasta according to package directions.

While pasta cooks, make the pesto sauce:
In a blender or food processor, combine basil, olive oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt.
Puree until smooth.

Drain cooked pasta and return it to the pot.
4.
Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and pesto sauce to the pasta.
Stir until combined and sauce thickens.
5.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6.
Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
