Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound spaghetti or penne pasta 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup fresh basil pesto (homemade or store-bought) 1/4 cup grated Asiago cheese Salt and black pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce.
In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and pesto.
Stir until smooth.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.

Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
Stir to coat.

Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Asiago cheese.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and basil leaves, if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use homemade pesto.
Add some cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for a more substantial meal.
If the sauce is too thick, add a little milk or water.
Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
