Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (any short shape, such as penne or rotini) 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup basil pesto 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer.

Add the Parmesan cheese and cook, stirring constantly, until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.

Stir in the basil pesto and chopped basil.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use homemade basil pesto.
Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra depth of flavor.
Add grilled chicken or shrimp to the pasta for a more substantial meal.
If you don’t have heavy cream, you can use half-and-half instead.
Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up all the delicious sauce.
