Creamy Pesto Pasta with ShrimpIngredients:
1 pound linguine or spaghetti 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/2 pound cooked and peeled shrimp Salt and black pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta according to the package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, make the pesto by combining the basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil in a food processor or blender.
Pulse until smooth.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.

Add the pesto to the pasta and stir to combine.

Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the sauce is creamy and heated through.

Add the shrimp to the pasta and stir to combine.
7.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and basil leaves if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use roasted bell peppers or sun-dried tomatoes in the pesto.
If you don’t have fresh basil, you can use 1/4 cup dried basil.
You can also add other vegetables to the pasta, such as spinach, broccoli, or asparagus.
Serve with a side of crusty bread for dipping.
