Easy Chicken ParmesanIngredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 large eggs, beaten 1 cup marinara sauce 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheeseInstructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a shallow dish, combine flour, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Dip chicken breasts into eggs, then coat with flour mixture.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Add a thin layer of oil and cook chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer chicken breasts to a baking dish and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Tips:
For a thicker breading, dip the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, then the eggs, then back into the flour mixture.
To make your own marinara sauce, sauté 1 chopped onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes in a saucepan for 15-20 minutes, or until thickened.
Add your favorite toppings, such as sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or olives.
