Creamy Pesto PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (such as penne, fusilli, or rotini) 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup pesto sauce 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:

Cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and pesto sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.

Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat.

Stir in the fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is heated through, about 2 minutes.

Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use homemade pesto sauce.
Add grilled or roasted chicken or shrimp to the pasta for a more substantial meal.
Garnish with additional fresh herbs, such as parsley or oregano.
Leftover pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
