Garlic Butter Shrimp ScampiIngredients:
1 pound (450g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 2-3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional) 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper, to taste Lemon wedges, for garnish (optional)Instructions:

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet or sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3.
Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4.
Add the white wine (if using) and let simmer for 1 minute.
5.
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6.
Stir in the parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Cook for another minute, or until the cheese is melted.
7.
Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or grilled vegetables.
Garnish with lemon wedges, if desired.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use a combination of unsalted and salted butter.
If you don’t have white wine, you can substitute with chicken or vegetable broth.
Add some red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
You can also add other vegetables to this dish, such as sautéed mushrooms, onions, or zucchini.
