Chicken ParmesanIngredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup bread crumbs 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon basil 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup olive oil 1 jar (28 ounces) marinara sauce 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheeseInstructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

Dip the chicken breasts into the egg and then into the seasoned flour mixture.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Transfer the chicken breasts to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Spread the marinara sauce over the chicken breasts.

Top with the mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve with your favorite pasta or vegetables.
Tips:
To pound the chicken breasts thin, place them between two sheets of plastic wrap and use a meat mallet to pound them flat.
If you don’t have bread crumbs, you can use crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers instead.
You can also add other ingredients to the flour mixture, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or dried thyme.
If you don’t have any chicken breasts, you can also use boneless, skinless chicken thighs instead.
To make this dish ahead of time, you can assemble it and bake it partially.
Then, when you’re ready to serve, simply reheat it in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
