Homemade Chicken Noodle SoupIngredients:
1 whole chicken (3-4 pounds) 1 onion, chopped 2 carrots, chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped 10 cups chicken broth 1/2 cup egg noodles 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsleyInstructions:

In a large Dutch oven or stockpot, place the chicken, onion, carrots, and celery.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1-2 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the pot and let cool.
5.
Strain the broth into a large bowl and discard the vegetables.
6.
Shred the chicken and return it to the broth.
7.
Bring the soup back to a boil and add the egg noodles.
8.
Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked through.
9.
Stir in the chopped parsley.
10.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, brown the chicken in a skillet before adding it to the soup.
Add other vegetables to the soup, such as potatoes, peas, or corn.
Serve the soup with a side of crusty bread or crackers.
