For the Crust:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Gradually add the warm water and stir until a dough forms.
3.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until elastic and smooth.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
For the Sauce:

Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
