For the Dough:
1.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Gradually add the warm water while mixing until a dough forms.
3.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
For the Sauce:

In a medium saucepan, combine the crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
To Assemble the Pizza:
