For the dough:

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Gradually add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
For the sauce:

In a medium saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, onion, garlic, oregano, and basil.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
To assemble the pizza:
