In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, cayenne pepper (if using), and chicken broth.

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

Return the shredded chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir to combine.

Serve the honey garlic chicken over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
Tips:
For a more flavorful dish, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic sauce for at least 30 minutes before slow cooking.
Add a few tablespoons of brown sugar to the sauce for a caramelized flavor.
If you don’t have rice vinegar, you can substitute white vinegar or lemon juice.
Serve the honey garlic chicken with a side of steamed broccoli or green beans for a healthy meal.
