Savory Herb and Parmesan BiscuitsIngredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup buttermilk 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small piecesInstructions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the chives, parsley, and Parmesan cheese and stir to combine.

Add the buttermilk and mix until just combined.
Do not overmix.

Add the cold butter pieces and work them into the dough with your fingers or a pastry cutter until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 5-6 times.
Pat the dough into a 12-inch circle.

Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, cut out 8 biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the biscuits with melted butter and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Tips:
For a more flavorful biscuit, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
If you don’t have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar to 1 cup of milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
To prevent the biscuits from sticking together, do not overmix the dough.
For a crispier biscuit, brush them with butter before baking.
