Slow Cooker Honey Garlic ChickenIngredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 cup honey 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup rice vinegar 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons cold waterInstructions:

Place the chicken in a slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.

Pour the sauce over the chicken.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and cold water.

Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set aside.

Bring the remaining sauce to a boil in the slow cooker.

Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture until the sauce thickens.

Return the chicken to the slow cooker and toss to coat with the sauce.

Serve over rice or noodles, if desired.
Tips:
For a sweeter flavor, use more honey.
For a spicier flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
If you don’t have rice vinegar, use white vinegar instead.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
