Creamy Tomato PastaIngredients:
1 pound pasta (any type) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 (14.
5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the pasta and cook according to package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.
6.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
7.
Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
8.
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
Stir until well combined.
9.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.

Serve hot and enjoy!
